SENIOR CLUB CRICKET

Saturday afternoon A, B and C Grade

The Club currently has three senior teams, in each of the A, B and C Grade competitions in the Great Southern Cricket Association.

We aim to have a grade that suits any skill level that comes in to the Club. Games are played across the home ground of Port Elliot Oval and our second oval at the Victor Harbor Hockey Club throughout the season.

We hit a highpoint in the 2020/21 season with four senior teams for the very first time, and the A Grade making its first grand final since 1976/77! We're hoping to get back to that point this season.

JUNIOR GIRLS

New this season!

It's time to add a Junior Girls team to our 'Young Bloods'!

We're looking to be part of the first Girls League in the Great Southern Cricket Association and welcome all girls to come and play cricket!

You might already have played some Junior Colts, been in our Cricket Blast Centre previously, or are completely new to cricket! We don't mind! Come join us in October 2023 and be part of the fun!

JUNIOR AND SENIOR COLTS

The more serious stuff!

Club cricket switches to Saturday mornings for Junior Colts (Under 14) and Senior Colts (Under 16.5) teams, and brings in two-day matches of 40 overs per day.

A number of our current A Grade players stepped into playing senior grades while still in Junior or Senior Colts to help the transition, supported by the older players around them.

Following our first Senior Colts premiership in 2013/14 and Junior Colts the next season, the Club has had a successful period with five more premierships across the two grades.

UNDER 12'S

Your child's first taste of club cricket!

Under 12's is the first opportunity for club cricket! Centre wicket, club shirt, the works! Usually split into a 'South' competition to minimise travel, matches are played on a Friday night and as one-day matches, meaning a bat and a bowl on the same night!

If and when they're ready, the Club helps players looking for extra opportunities to begin playing in higher Junior Colts grades

We've been lucky enough to have healthy numbers to give plenty of opportunities for matches between our multiple teams, making for a great atmosphere!

WOOLWORTHS JUNIOR BLASTERS

Cricket for the first time!

With the help of SACA, we host a Junior Blasters Centre at the start of each season which is coordinated by our Club members, and delivered over eight weeks. Each session is 60 minutes and brings the concepts of batting, bowling and fielding to participants through modified games, soft balls and plastic equipment. When you register you get a participant pack and shirt with your child's name on the back!
